AMSOIL, INC was started in 1974 by Al Amatuzio. As an Air Force fighter pilot and squadron commander Mr. Amatuzio was well aware of the benefits of the synthetic lubricants used in jet engines. Synthetic oils are the only type of lubricants that can withstand the heat and pressure generated by jet engines. However, at the time of his retirement from the Air Force no one was making synthetic lubricants for the automotive and trucking industry. Mr. Amatuzio formed AMSOIL, INC, gathered the top engineers and chemists of the day and after much research and effort developed the very first American Petroleum Institute approved Synthetic Motor Oil for cars and trucks. His company has since been known as AMSOIL, “The First in Synthetics.” |

Because of his interest in preventative health care and nutrition Mr. Amatuzio added the ALTRUM division to the company in 1985 to carry on the AMSOIL Tradition of Excellence into other product lines, including: nutritional supplementation, water filtration and the AGGRAND brand of Liquid Organic Fertilizers. |

Many of our Dealers are actually Husband and Wife Teams that work together developing a business that will provide them a secure retirement later in their lives. Often one will work the sales aspect of the business while the other takes care of the office management of the business. Many couples will divide the business with one concentrating on the synthetic lubricants and filters while the other focuses on the nutritional supplements and/or the organic fertilizer division. There are also, many Single Women who have chosen to be AMSOIL Dealers. One of the most successful AMSOIL Dealerships was built by two sisters. |

Since my wife has her own career that keeps her extremely busy, I work my business by myself in conjunction with another AMSOIL Dealer. I work all aspects of the business, focusing on one part or another at different times of the year. I initially began by setting up several independent motorcycle shops as retail-on-the shelf accounts. These accounts are easy to set up and are a great way to get your feet wet in the business. Every time they purchase a product for resale I receive a 20% cash commission directly from AMSOIL as well as commission credits based on the amount of product purchased by that particular account. These commission credits are converted into cash and paid to me at the end of the month at a percentage determined by the actual number of credits accumulated. The more credits the higher the percentage. |

I also began to talk with owners of small businesses that had vehicles. Since all of AMSOIL’s lubricants and filters operate for intervals well beyond those of conventional lubricants and filters, these businesses can save money, vehicle down-time and wear and tear on their equipment by using AMSOIL products. These types of accounts generate a 10% cash commission as well as commission credits and are a good way to begin generating immediate income for your business. |

As an AMSOIL Dealer you have a very efficient distribution system working for you. There is no need to stock any product if you don’t want to. Any of AMSOIL’s many products can be ordered and shipped directly to the customer from regional warehouses across the country. There is even a program where Dealers can have customers sign up for the Preferred Customer Program and order products at the Dealer’s cost. The Dealer automatically receives the commission credit value of the order without ever having to interact with the individual at all. Many of these Preferred Customer Accounts will continue to renew year after year. It’s a good idea to keep in touch with them at intervals but it’s not required and some Dealers don’t. |

We let everyone we met know that we were AMSOIL dealers and we could help them reduce the expense and the time they were wasting by changing their oil every 3,000 miles or 3 months. We changed oil in my driveway and even went to our customer’s homes and businesses when necessary. After we had done some advertising and generated local interest we decided to take the plunge and found a building to lease. We borrowed some money, fixed up the building and purchased equipment and inventory. Before we knew it we were in the oil change business doing oil and filter changes, transmission fluid, transfer case, and differential fluid exchanges. We also found AMSOIL customers that wanted a place to come and purchase products without having to order them and wait for them to be shipped. |

Our Freedom Lube, Inc. shop and retail store has been open since March of 2007. We are here from 8am to 6pm Monday through Saturday every week. Our business volume has increased each month. We are seeing more customers coming in as referrals from other customers, drive by sales are increasing because we let everyone that pulls onto our parking lot wanting an oil change know that we do only AMSOIL extended drain oil changes. When they learn that they will be saving money and time and protecting their vehicle investments with a better quality product, a large percentage of them decide to try us out. We also advertise on the radio and do some print advertising. All of these things are part of the planning process we can help you with. |

We are in the preliminary stages of trade marking the Freedom Lube, Inc. name and will be offering a free startup package for anyone wanting to become an AMSOIL Dealer in our group and start an AMSOIL Oil and Filter Change Facility using the Freedom Lube, Inc. name. Since AMSOIL pays us a small percentage of the sales each of our Dealers generate when they purchase AMSOIL products for resale or personal use we do not need to charge an upfront fee to help you start your lube shop/retail store. |
